Marli obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology, as well as both her honours in psychometry and counselling at the University of Johannesburg. With 6 years’ experience within the field of psychometry, Marli owns a private consulting practice. After completing an internship at the University of Johannesburg’s student service bureau, as well as Magellan Consulting (private consulting/training company and test supplier), she joined the private sector.

Marli started her career as human capital consultant dealing with both private and public sector. She assisted in a wide range of assessment related projects including both selection and development. After serving a period as team leader, Marli joined another division within the group heading a learnership programme for disable learners.

She recently started her own practice focusing on assessments as guide towards selection, development / coaching, succession planning, as well as research. Even though a preference towards dealing with corporates, as well as within the wellness arena, Marli assists with career guidance and short term counselling therapy if and when needed. She further consults for various consulting companies and/or practices, such as Irodo Consulting.
